Year 5-8 Athletics Carnival – Tuesday November 10th- 

                 PARENT HELPERS NEEDED PLEASE

The annual school athletics day will be held at Glover Park on Tuesday 10^th November. 

We require parents to volunteer to support for the day please contact Valerie Marra at  valeriem@parnell.school.nz

Practise your sprints on the school track after hours or at your local athletics field.

Think about entering the 400m and 800m event on the day!!!!

Year 1-4 Athletics focus for Term 4- stronger, faster, higher

If you are able to volunteer to support on high jump or long jump on 

Wednesday 9-11 (Yr 2) We were learning to long jump- take off with one foot and land with two.  We also were throwing the weighted balls for distance

  

11:30-1pm Athletics with Room 5,8 and 6 are lucky to have the support of Alicia Bowen and Lucy Bowerman, thank you for helping us with our long jump, high jump and softball throw.

I would still like a couple of parents to support on Friday 9-11  (Yr 3-4) please contact  Valerie Marra at  valeriem@parnell.school.nz if you can help me with high jump or long jump.

Year 2 Athletics Carnival – Tuesday November 17th
9-11am on the school field- please contact Valerie Marra at  valeriem@parnell.school.nz if you are available to help at the Athletics Carnival.

Year 3-4 Athletics Carnival – Wednesday November 18th

9am-2pm on the school field- more details to follow

Eastern Zones/ Bay Suburbs Tournaments for Term 4

Year 7/8 Boys/Girls Touch Rugby       Tuesday 3^rd November           Madills Farm

Year 5/6 Touch Rugby                          Thursday 5^th November            Madills Farm

Touch Rugby team managers and drivers are required to support us on the day of tournament please contact Valerie Marra at  valeriem@parnell.school.nz if you are available.
