Year 5-8 Athletics Carnival

The annual school athletics day will be held at Glover Park on Tuesday 10^th November. 

We require parents to volunteer to support for the day please contact Valerie Marra at  valeriem@parnell.school.nz

Format; Heats & Field Events – morning, 10.00am-1.15pm   Finals of track only, 1.30-2.15pm

Year 1-4 Athletics focus for Term 4- stronger, faster, higher

The students from Year 1 to 6  will focus on the skills required for each field and track event for their syndicate Athletics Carnivals held in Term 4;- they will be learning the techniques to – high jump, long jump, sprint races, relay races, hurdles  and softball throw.  If you are able to volunteer on Wednesday 9-11 (Yr 2) or 11:30-1pm (Yr 1) or Friday 9-11  (Yr 3-4) please contact  Valerie Marra at  valeriem@parnell.school.nz

Year 3-8 Weetbix TRYathlon registrations open

Parnell District School has been registered as one of the schools to participate in the 2016 Weetbix TRYathlon on February 21^st, 2016.  If you are in Year 3 to Year 8  in 2016 and would like a fun challenge now is your chance to register as an Individual or with a friend as a team.
