Parnell Yellow Ferns	Congratulations to our Yr 8 Yellow Ferns who had another win, 19-13 against Remuera Intermediate.  A great game and a big thank you to Molly O'Connor for being available at the last minute to fill in for us!	Players of the day were Molly O'Connor and Xanthe Savill.
Parnell Panthers	We lost against a strong 💪🏽 team, Te Papapa 26 to 8.  Regardless the team played well and stuck to their game plan.	Players of the day this week  Ella Billcliff for bring a great team captain stepping up this week  Ella Millar for her interception against girls twice her size
Parnell Pineapples	The team did really well yesterday, working great as a team, especially on defence. They won 5-1 and it was well deserved as the other team worked really hard. Some great early goals by Chloe and Leah, but the key work was the defence of that lead by lots of intercepts by everyone. Some great goal attempts by Ruby and Anna, and overall great work in turning over lost balls.	Player of the day this week was Santiago.
Parnell Gold	The weather dried up in the afternoon and the team was all set to go.It was a tight game against Holy Cross. The girls showed great sportsmanship and never give up. The final score was 8:10 to Holy Cross	Well done Estelle for your second P.O.D. of the season ! She has shown great potential in this game defending very well !

Parnell Gold	Parnell Gold had a really great game today despite the wind 💨 Thank you to the coaches for preparing and guiding the team. Note on Sportsmanship Michelle Luo has learnt so much about sportsmanship  She mentioned to her mum that she was honest at the game today and said to the other coach that she touched the ball last and hence it should not be her ball when she was given the ball 🏀! Well done Michelle for your honesty. Score was 13-2 against Remuera Primary   Team report supplied by Catalina Wong	We had the whole team getting the players of the day ! You all worked so well as a team so it was hard to pick one out from the team !!

Team	Team Report	Play of the Day
Parnell Professionals	Hard game for the Professionals with the final score about 17/3 to St Mary's but the girls had fun and didn't lose their spirit.	Ana Morandi.
Parnell Yellow Ferns	The Yellow Ferns had another win this week 12-9 against St Pius X. A tough game and sadly we lost Sasha half way through the game to injury.	Xanthe Savill was our player of the day!
Parnell Panthers	We welcome Dana into our team this week  She was very keen and running around the court marking her opponent really well !! Well done for her first time playing netball. Keep in up ! This week we had a great win vs Mount Eden Normal Primary 13-6 The player of the day is Ella Billcliff ! She did an amazing job today we all saw her playing 2 different positions and getting many great catches overall strong play from Ella !
Parnell Pineapples	Due to illness there were not enough players so thanks to Yasmin who helped out by playing with her sister.	Excellent work Alisha for receiving our Player of the Day
Parnell Gold	Parnell Gold played two games this week - the first was against St Joseph.  This was a close and very exciting game.  Parnell did an incredible job of marking their partners and preventing the very strong St Joseph's shooters from putting up too many shots.   It was fabulous to see such strong sportsmanship from Parnell - assisting one of the St Jospeh's shooters several times after she had a couple of hard falls. We drew 5 all. The second game was against St Ignatius - and I could not fault Parnell - Ruby played a dominant centre intercepting 3 shots - our defenders Milla and Estelle were incredibly dominant allowing very few shots to get thru to the shooters and Olive and Jessica worked skilfully together in the circle. Final score 10 - 3 to Parnell Gold. Player of the day was awarded to Ruby for 3 stunning intercepts.

Parnell Panthers	Parnell Panthers lost 2:8 in 1st quarter and came back strong to lose 💪🏽 19:23 to Balmoral Great team work  Despite the torrential rain we had at 6 pm with multiple puddles and slippery court and 🏀  The girls really enjoy themselves	Ida was the Player of the Day, a move of position from GS to WD was made and you were awarded a great interception.
Parnell Pineapples Week 4-Leah Wini Week 3- Lily Double Week 2-Chloe Luo
Parnell Gold	BYE	BYE
Parnell Poppies	Week 3- Report by Dave Johnston Parnell Poppies Vs OLSH Panda  7 - 1 Parnell Poppies recorded their biggest win of the season with a dominate performance against the Pandas. After going a goal down in the first quarter, a smart tactical substitution by Coach Karen paid immediate dividends with Daisy drawing the teams level. From then on it was one way traffic as the Poppies scored 7 unanswered points. Maia and Karen have become an effective defensive duo with some critical interceptions and great recycling of the ball. Bondi import Charlize is something of a mid-field general with great communication skills and a potent lob game.    Great effort all round from the girls in windy conditions.	Player of the day Paige continues to be our most potent points scorer but shared the points haul with unselfish play with Hannah and Daisy. Great movement of the ball between goal attack and mid-field to establish scoring opportunities. Play of the day was Daisy’s bounce pass under pressure in the semi-circle to set up the final point.
