PDS Cricket Blitz team wins first game v Pt England

Congratulations to the Year 5-6 Cricket Blitz team for your first win against Pt England at Auckland Domain. Thank you Simon from Parnell Cricket Club for umpiring and all the parent support.

Next week game is at Pt England Reserve, 254 Point England Road, Pt England, Auckland for a 4pm start.

Intermediate PE sessions on Tuesday 11.30 to 3pm- Softball skills

A reminder to all Intermediate students to wear their sports uniform on Tuesdays - sports shoes, school blue shorts and sports top with hat in T1 and T4.

Water Safety sessions with the Juniors

Thank you to all the parents and teachers for supporting the Water Safety Programme at Parnell District School.  Also thank you to WaterSafe Auckland for providing the life jackets and tube for our "wet" and "dry" sessions.  Chris and his team of Water Educator worked well with the students to ensure they have a better understanding of "water safety" and "survival" skills.

We will continue with our Water Safety programme in Term 4 of this year.  Remember to be safe in, on and around water.
